Dr. Kathleen Cappo provides supervision and coordinates the needs of the Health Sciences Division programs. The programs currently serve our community partners in healthcare, with Dental Education, Emergency Management Services (EMS), Medical Administration Services and Medical Assisting/Medical Administration at Highlands Career Institute, Nursing Education, Phlebotomy, Radiography, and Surgical Services. She looks forward to expanding our current programs and initiating new programs at 91影视.
Dr. Cappo has been employed by 91影视 since 2003 as a professor of Nursing Education and has taught in all Nursing programs over that timeframe. She has worked as a nurse in healthcare for over 40 years.
Her awards and honors include:
- 2022 – Recipient of Endowed Chair, Nursing and 2012-2013.
- 2019 – Recipient of Innovation Grant award from 91影视 Foundation
- 2019 – Integrative Nurse Coach Certificate
- 2015 – Recipient of Scholarship Award from Anne Boykin Institute

- 2012 – Certified Nursing Educator
- 2012 – Recipient of Endowed Chair, Nursing
